Our History

We are a family that always had been close of nature and animals. From time to time we intercalate times to lives on the city and other on country. In this last period we are living on Buenos Aires City.

As long as we could remember we had garden, flowers, vegetal, animals and breeding was always in our lives. Cats had been our passion from always because they are smartest, intelligent and they are magic creatures with captivating eyes that are very expressive and unique; eyes that are like no others. We love cat’s eyes mainly in blue, orange or odd-eyes colour.

In 1988, we received into our lives the first Siamese cat that was lovely blue point male. From this moment, Siamese have been our passion by their deep blue eye colour, profound intelligent and their incredible elegance, by this reason was the cat breed that we chosen to us like first option to bred. In that phase we had our first steps into our hobby.

We were basically learning about the breed and their breed-group, breed history, housetraining, nutrition and feeding, proper health care, basic education training, show care (stripping-grooming-bath). With all that we helped our cats to be comfortable, and we assisted our breeding queens to delivery their litters and care them. We enjoyed kittens growing up and their plays; see them in new homes well placed, healthy, with an excellent temperament and giving more pleasure and love to the new fortunate owners. All those teach us to give them the best environment possible.

Our educational features continue with their breed standards (characteristics and attributes) research and they interpretation, reading different cats articles, collecting “Cat Fanciers Magazines” and old TICA and CFA Yearbooks and so that we had a chance of considering pictures and names of some of the more representatives cats for those days and for others that we found in pedigrees.

All that permitted us to built our own mental “perfect siamese” according to our own taste and following our Standards interpretation (subject to our culture, beauty ideals, tolerance, prejudice, experiences and knowledge) that is not more than an “ideal cat” but everybody knows that "perfection" NOT exist or will be always nearest but a little far from the past ideal point.

Those collected and compiled material plus the study of genetically heritage, new articles and information, pedigrees, breeding practices and tools have permitted us to: made our pedigree database, study carefully those pedigrees and their breeder’s practices, start to manage breeding exercises and plan the selection to the mating process, and mainly commence our own future breeding programs and procure reach to our goals. It was a wonderful opportunity to learn about being a BREEDER, that is the "end result" from lots of hard work, money included, and could easily be one of the most exciting things to us.

We always continue learning, investigating and observing about cats, breeder’s opinions, show results, web pages, genetics investigations and discovers, new lab test and congenital or acquired disorders that concern all purebred cat.

In a while, we bought our third registered siamese, a blue point female named Ku’ei Dominique that was more accord with our aesthetic taste and we started to show her and it did not end there. Mantra Milkala, Mantra Sheva, Pintail tahine and De Sandu Tania follow her addition to our breeding stock.

Singa Scarlette

For several years siamese was the one and distinctive single breed to us. We become totry to import in 1990 and 1991. In 1992 we had introduced our first male from differents siamese bloodlines from USA, specifically form Jeanne Singer of SINGA cattery; it was Singa Connan.

At middle of the year 1992 we introduced our second import, a Seal Point female named Singa Scarlette.

We have been always able to import and introduce new animals, new traits and new breeds into our Cattery and Country to bettering and increase the local feline world gene pool’s population. In those first years, we learn that health and temper is so important like their look and adjustment to standard or even more.

In 1993 we begun with white oriental blue eyed and odd eye colored but genetics have their own rules and they open the doors to the oriental self colors too. White blue eyed was and are named "Foreign Whites" into FIFe system.

After 1994 we import two Abyssinians female from Brazil. We show and breed them. Other bred like Balinese, Birmans and Persian follow them but not captured our interest for so long.

Around middles 90´s when we had attained lovely cats bred by ourselves that we considered representative of our cattery became our devotion to breed. Those was a difficult work but not impossible.

Ulyebka Iz Murino

In 1995 we found and read an interesting article about Peterbald. It was into TICA’s Trend from October of the same year and was authored by one Russian breeder, Olga Shidlovskaya. Few time later, we contacted few breeders, and one of them was willing to export to Argentina.
In 1999 we imported with great effort two cats from St. Petersburg via München to Buenos Aires. Suddenly the Peterbald world opened up to us and we had begun in Peterbald´s breeder. At this moment, with this NEW BRED we decided to add a new cattery prefix, we chosen CMC. We were fortunate to work those first animals with exceptionally wonderful high quality cats with diverse bloodlines and in these way we could bettering those original breeding animals.

In 2004 and 2005 we used few stud service from others catteries. few of them was Balinese stud services from one dearest friend, the owner of Edelwes cattery: Pedro Baldesari that sadly is not more bettween us. Thanks him we breed few siamese and oriental variants that carry the long hair gene.

In those years too we work too with a pure siamese lilac point and an oriental cinnamon from BelleNana cattery, imported lines from our lovely friend, Gabriela Iesari.

In all those years we made and fallow our own "Gold-Rule" based on the age old adage "build the barn then paint it":

"the best is always bred for health and temperament first, followed by type then color"

We are dedicated to breeding quality cats to our own taste and following our Standards interpretation; where “Standard” is a guide or direction and “our taste is the way to follow”. Our goals are achieved through our selective breeding process that allow us be able to produce lovely pets (cats or kittens) that meet their breed standard in good type to raise healthy and well socialized. That is the "end result" of lots of hard work, time and money included.

"Every aspect of our hobby fascinates us and brings us “All that JOY of breed”.
