Always the main goal of our cattery and consequently from our breeding program is to create cats with wonderful sweet temperament, outstanding health and modern type that will became in affectionate little darlings that give their owners the gift of many years of happiness; that have the possibility of a long and healthy life, while also looking good. Obviously, nobody can guarantee the life span or health of a cat. We can only try to do our best and minimize risks. We know that nobody is totally protected and isolated case could occurs sometimes, it is just a part of nature way (congenital, mutations and few recessive polygenic traits).
Constantly we put special emphasis on improve the breed and produce healthy, strong, attractive, distinctive animals with extremely cheerful temper and good looks capable of reproducing and maintain it current exquisite quality that is concern for breed stability, but without lost their unmistakable class of distinction that stamps our cattery's & breeder's imprint on litter after litter.
We try to achieve our goals through our selective breeding practices and our intensive
evaluation process of physical attributes of each cat, all that that allow us to be able to produce normally
a predictability and quality´ consistency, health, and temperament. All that plus our past bloodline
based on diverse American cats as also out of the European Union provides us a limited by very exclusive
breeding program.
Our time and effort investment to care and upbringing the kittens are exceptional determined in health and temper because
without that, kittens shall be a “problematic animal” and not a lovely pet.
Only the strongest and docile and affection-able kittens will be carefully selected and introduced to our breeding stock and program, to pass-on their genetic makeup to future generations. No more than strongest animals should given high security level that will not lost the breed vigour and that gene pool should not become too undersized or decrease. Undersized or delicate kittens will NOT be available to breed and will instead lead charmed lives as pets.
The most important request is to ensure all kittens and cats a nice cats life so that the new owner will receive the same fun and happiness like we get.
We are focused on breeding Peterbald, Siamese, Syschelois (Siamese with White), Oriental SH & LH and Balinese. Our
entire breeds are brotherhood or part of the same family. They have same "biotype or body conformation" and they differs ones from others only in coat
(hairs length or absence), pattern and colors. We could say that differences mainly are only few recessive genes and polygenes. All that made that our
breeding program and work be focused mainly in structure.
At initial moments, our breeding program was focused to change the local heavy-boning type of Argentinean Siamese by the American “stylised figure”.
We had employed and work with American lines like Calermar and Moonson to gain our first aspiration and start the new selection.
Our continues work to improve and fix the “stylised figure” made that our firsts generations were mostly based in American imported.
In those first breeding we achieve few ni¿ce traits
and we decide to breed mainly in outcrosses to retain the “open
gene pool” and with line-breeding to “fix few nice characters
that give to our breeding cats a distinctive characteristics by “typical
unique look” and “charmed style” that we was looking
for them when we made our mental Ideal Siamese Cat. According that,
we always have tried to get different bloodlines and distant from the
present in Argentina, because we found a little impractical to work
with same lines and reduce at same time the genetic pool. A certain
degree of "inbreeding" is tolerable and also sometimes necessary
and always the breeding’s course could have changes but not too
strong.
Supporting that we had chose Singa bloodlines from N.Y.-USA that were based exclusively on English-lines with well-shaped heads; for this reason we introduce two animals from different litters and lines in 1992 and 1993. All that work with our import cats consent to breed with another local imports like Rosecat, San-Toi, Bru-Bru or use too few other local cats that was fruit of the merge of well known European bloodlines like Pintail -Z´Gippes, DelaMontesa - Rurur´s, DelaMontesa - Van Diaspora, Edelweiss-von Gloritte, Bellenana - Sulena de thengrinoir, Beyonlimits - Ciaras, Roberts- Okonor, Lovespell - Whoppy.
In the last period we tried to combine with another American-European-Australian mix of lines (Klazeekats, Noengnoi, Okonor, Rama, Shonstar, Katillan) and in the next future we could attempt to continue employing new breeding material like an extra out of European blend bloodlines. As well we will always consider new breeding opportunities with good type’s cats in order to refresh our genetic pool and to gradually improve same traits.
From time to time, we decide to keep one or two extra special studs to amplify our breeding program and animal stock for short time and like an alternative to breed with few of our high quality females in the case that they couldn’t take an external stud service. That is because most breeders feel they are islands onto themselves and dont give stud services or don´t sale their bloodlines to other breeders. We discovered that is recuently topic around the world and is denominated "Omerta Code" or "breders´omerta code".
Finally we could say that our bloodlines are based almost totally on imported cats and foreign lines not close related to other local lines. Our cat consistently produces a strong health, high vigour, sweet friendly kittens with nice quality and high longevity.
