BATHS

The baths are one of the key parts in the cleaning and maintenance of purebred cats.
Catīs baths and brushing, both helps keep your cat healthier since they eliminate the dead hair and dirt coat that would otherwise end up swallowing the cats when they groom themselves with their tongue. Its could irritate their digestive system and throwing hairīs balls. In other cases the hair will cause constipation and the resulting difficult to expel him.

The bathroom is mostly required for the maintenance of long or semi long coats. Generally cats are not bath-friends but they are not enemies swim despite what the general people think. Most important, therefore, is create bath habit in the kittens earliest possible. But it is noteworthy that the more traumatic for the cats is not the water itself, nor the shampoo, but the drying air dryer or turbines mainly by the noise of the equipment.

It is very important that the first bath time not be a traumatic experience, quite possibly the opposite of pleasant time is the best. It is essential once you want to bath the cat , you have everything ready and avoid drafts.

Our suggestion is bath the cat in a gentle but decided way, carefully but with determination. The main thing is to take the animal in a kind or gentle way from their four legs in a similar position until he was sitting on our hands and then immerse slowly into a bathpool with the warm watter, 36-37 ° C; soothing caresses and endearments. Another option is to put in a sink or bathtub with a towel on the floor to avoid slipping and despair and then wet it with a sponge or a wet glove, or with a container with water like a plastick cup, a shower head or at least the tap . Avoid soaking the head in the first bath, let alone get water in their eyes or ears. If it show you a hostile reaction, not insist. It is preferable to repeat the operation after a few days than fight and make him loathe the bathroom.

Itīs very important to use only a soap or detergent product designed for cats because they are designed to not affecting their hair or skin of the same (they are normally sold at veterinary or specialty stores). After washing your hair at least twice recommended several repeated rinses with water, generous and deep to remove all traces of soap actor, once the water runs clear and transparent, you can be sure that the cat is well rinsed . Once this operation take out the cat's bowl and drain the water accumulated in thick fur with your hands, then proceed to dry with hot towel wrap and massage it gently.
When cat will be quite dry combing only the legs. Do not comb the rest of the mantle with the cat still wet, as they start a lot of hair.

Then use a hair dryer (professional if is possible) or turbine for over half an hour to dry well at all in depth. Once the cat is half-dried, proceed to comb the hair gently to open without sinking deeply comb. It is necessary to open the hair to dry. Here we proceed directly to dry as the air dryer with oscillating movements to not burn its skin until dry and tangle. Then it is advisable to leave half an hour closer to the ignition or turbine dryer to dry the undercoat temon and hairīs microtubes.

Once the bath and drying, it is recommended to reward the cat with caresses and cuddling, games, favorite toys, and failing some kind of gourmet snack..
